Beer restaurant providing good service. Occasional choral singing and dancing, football matches sometime shown. Not a large choice of grades of beer, because " Malt and Hop " is a restaurant, rather than a pub. Caters for 'quality not quantity'.

Specialities include pork  with stewed cabbage, potato and sauce сацебели. On the open grill is prepared a steak of salmon with pickled vegetables, a unleavened wheat cake and sauce ткемали.  The grill also prepares less high-calorie dishes before a summer season.
