Having dinner, whilst lounging and working out on a boat, is possible at The Flying Dutchman.  This up-market restaurant is part of a complex onboard the replica Flying Dutchman ship that includes a 24-hour fitness centre, beauty salon and DJ bar. The restaurant's best feature is the views across the Neva from the full-length windows.

The unique project “The Flying Dutchman”, a three-masted sailboat, is a replica of a 30-canon Dutch ship “Amsterdam” built in 1978, moored today at Mytninskaya Embankment, a favorite place for Peterburgers and tourists.

The top-floor has restaurant, the dance club is downstairs and the gym has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Peter and Paul Fortress, the river and the Hermitage on the opposite bank. This is a good place for a big party or a special night out, but it's not very subtle or intimate.
