In the evening after dinner you can go to the theatre to either watch a ballet or hear an opera. We can reserve tickets to the most beautiful performances for you in advance. You can visit the Mariinsky (former Kirov) Theatre, the Mussorgsky Opera and Ballet House or prefer a smaller theatre. If you choose to hear and see something that is connected with the Russian folklore, there are folklore shows available with Russian dances, songs, tricks, traditional Russian instruments - balalaika and gusli - playing, playing on wooden spoons, on a saw, and much more. They are usually held in the former palaces of the members of the imperial family, so along with the show you'll have a perfect chance to observe the interiors of these palaces. You may also choose to see a circus show, whether or not you are with children.
